AM1 is an abdominal massager designed for Nouhaus, a lifestyle massage chair brand. Reflecting the product’s purpose of relaxation, it has been designed to have a comforting aesthetic, rather than a mechanical high tech look. The product is made to look natural on the user, like hugging a cushion, and to easily fit in with the home environment when placed on a sofa or bed after use.

The design features a smooth yet precise silhouette that follow the body line, with the front wrapped in fabric to emphasize the feeling of warmth and comfort. Details of the simple touch and physical buttons on the top, minimal square vent holes on the bottom, and the simplified side belt fastener and logo badge have all been thoughtfully added to create a cohesive aesthetic as a whole.
